Join us for a dip to start off the New Year!!
The Annual Freeze Your Tush Off for charity ocean dip will take place at the boat ramp in Winter Island Park, 50 Winter Island Road, Salem, Ma. on January 1, 2017.
By order of the Harbormaster, swimming is prohibited. The water temperature will be between 38-46 degrees so please dress appropriately. This is an AT-YOUR-OWN-RISK event. There is no entry fee nor registration required- the event is not sanctioned in any way by the City of Salem.
If you are going to dip, please collect money from your friends and supporters! Also, wear water footwear and have supporters waiting for you when you get out of the water with dry clothes and shoes. If you are a supporter or cheerleader, bring your voices to cheer on the dippers. Volunteers are always needed to set up the function hall and collect money for raffle tickets.
Coffee, hot chocolate and warmth will be available in the function hall to the right of the ramp. There will also be raffle items available and winners will be notified during the week of 1/2-7, 2017.

All proceeds from the TUSH go to the Salem Food Pantry as there is no cost or overhead. Since 2000, the TUSH raised close to $25K for the Pantry which helped to feed those who are hungry and live in Salem and other North Shore communities.
Donations of cash, checks and canned goods/staples are accepted. Representatives from the Salem Pantry will be on hand to accept all donations and provide a receipt upon request.
